5 Types Of Synchronistic Connections You Will Make In Your Lifetime

Do you believe that everything happens for a reason? One could argue that for every single person you meet, that encounter serves a greater purpose. Think about all of the people you’ve met along your journey.

People from different cultures and backgrounds, with different personalities, talents and stories. Each one of those people served a different purpose in your life. They may have brought you joy or showed you kindness when you needed it most, they may have opened up your eyes to something new or different, or they may have taught you a lesson that will stay with you for years to come. You’ll probably never know the exact purpose of every single encounter, but chances are, there was something more meaningful at play.

1. The People Who Awaken You

Not every person you meet will result in a life-long connection. But even knowing someone for a short period of time can change you. Those who awaken you stop by to remind you of your dreams and goals. They urge you to stay focused and pursue whatever it is you’re passionate about. This person might come into your life right when you’re ready to give up.

2. The People Who Remind You

Every now and then, we might veer off of the right path. There are people who come into our lives to keep us on the right road to happiness and success. They might not be around for long, but these people often leave a lasting impression. They remind us of what’s important.

3. The People Who Push You To Grow

There are certain people who come into your life to help you learn and grow. It might be a teacher, a counselor, a spiritual adviser or just a friend. These people will help you through your struggles and teach you things you weren’t able to see on your own.

4. The People Who Hold Space

You might meet people who hold space in a coffee shop, on the bus or waiting in line. These are the people you make small talk with, but you never further the connection. The short amount of time you spend with them might seem insignificant, but years after you’ve met, you might suddenly remember a name, a face or a lesson that stayed with you.

5. The People Who Stay

Last but not least, there are the people who stay. These are the people you encounter that you form a lasting relationship with. They are the most valuable type of people you will meet. They lift you up when you fall, they congratulate you on your success and they are always there to help you grow. These special connections will leave the greatest impact on your life.
