Your Life Has A Purpose

Your Life Has A Purpose

We have not been taught to trust in life. We have not been taught to trust in life and so we many times make plans of our own before truly seeing what it is that life wants from us.

What you are here to do may not yet have a category or a name. What you are here to do may be so completely new, that it is only through the process that life is taking you on that you will get to discover it.

And so we have been taught…

We’ve been taught that our complete destiny is in our own hands, that we must strive and push and create from our ego. Taught that we should create from our minds and not our hearts. We have been taught that we must take life into our own hands instead of stepping back and seeing that life is already holding us in its own hands.

Consider your breath for just one moment. Consider your breath and see that you are not the one in control of your breathing until you begin to think that you are the one in control of your breathing.

Life wants to be in harmony…

Life wants to be in harmony with us but we can only be in harmony with life when we surrender our minds plan for the bigger plan that life has for us. While we may not have been taught to trust in life before, we can begin to trust in life now, and as we do so, it becomes clearer that our life as it is, despite the challenges and windy roads, has been set up for us to fulfill the yearning and the dream that is in our hearts.

My name is Babajide Faseyi.  I was born and raised in Nigeria and then moved to the United States for college at the age of 19.  In my 20’s, I became acutely aware that there was more to life than I had been taught and this led me to a deep search.  I read voraciously.  After a period of disillusionment with not having an outlet for the creativity that I felt within myself, I encountered Eckhart Tolle’s book, The Power of Now.  And thus, the journey of knowing who I truly am and the discovery of what I have to offer creatively began.  The links to my facebook pages where my writings are posted are –facebook.com/bababajide and facebook.com/babajideinc.
